Child Find

A component of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004) that requires school districts to locate, identify and evaluate all children with disabilities ages birth through twenty-one, who are in need of early intervention or special education and related services. 

Developmental Preschool: Ages three to five

The Shelton Early Learning Program provides FREE developmental screenings throughout the school year for all children ages three to five years old suspected of having a developmental delay or disability. If you would like to schedule a developmental screening for you preschool-aged child please
