Sun-sational Summer School

Attention summer school families.  Shelton school district will be closed July 4th and 5th in observation of the holiday. This is a change in schedule from the original summer school plan.  Summer school will be in session July 6th and 7th as planned and will still end on Friday, July 15th.  

The Sun-sational Summer School is focused on supporting current 5th-8th grade students who are not meeting grade level standards in reading and/or math. This summer program will support the momentum of your child’s progress toward grade level standards in a fun and motivational setting.

Who: Current 5th – 8th Grade Students

Where: Olympic Middle School: 800 East K Street

When: June 20th – July 15th, 2022
Students may attend optional FREE field trips on Fridays: June 24th, July 1st, and July 8th. 
There will be no school on July 4th or 5th.
Friday, July 15th will be a mandatory school day (and not a field trip day).

Time: 7:45 AM – 12:15 PM 

Meals: FREE breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. 

Transportation: Buses are available to transport students. Be sure to include the necessary address/es on the registration form.
