Teaching & Learning

The curriculum of the school district is the total of all learning experiences provided to students. Each year, the district reviews various areas of the curriculum and adopts textbooks, program goals, expected student outcomes and student learning objectives which are the very latest in technique and material.

The Shelton School District maintains an extensive 6-12 occupational and 9-12 vocational program offering. This provides opportunity for career and job occupation training.

The district also provides comprehensive kindergarten through 12th grade gifted, remedial and categorical programs. A comprehensive pre-school special education program is also available.
