Family access allows guardians to view information for all their children using only one account. The information available includes attendance, class schedules, progress reports, and other student information. Due to the confidential information that is available in Family Access, we will require a picture ID to be presented before access codes are given to guardians.

Instructions for accessing Skyward Family Access

First Time or for Forgotten Login Information*

Note: This process will only work if you have filled out and have a valid email address on your student’s registration form.

1. For your first login, please use an actual computer (not a smartphone or other device). Though not required, you will have an easier time setting up your account.
2. Visit the Shelton School District website at: www.sheltonschools.org
3.  Click on the "Skyward - Family Access" link on the front page.
4. On the Skyward login screen, click "Forgot Your Login/Password".
5. Click the reCaptcha box next to “I’m not a robot.” If nothing happens, check to make sure pop-ups are enabled.
6. Enter the email address that is on file with your student’s school and click “Sign In.
7. An email will be sent to you with login information. In most circumstances, you should receive that email in 5-10 minutes. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

*If your student has just enrolled at a Shelton School District school, please allow 24 hours for your account to be created.
